I know I haven't blogged for AWHILE and I apologize, I was finishing up finals and everything was crazy hectic. BUT now this time of the year is my absolute favorite, if anyone knows me they know I LOVE LOVE LOVE Christmas and I prepare for it all year round (listening to Christmas music in July). Putting up lights, decorating the house, putting up the tree, spending time with family & friends, its hard to be sad this time of year. I made a little video showing some of the things my family and I do to get ready for the holidays. Hope you enjoy & Merry Christmas to all of you!
October is my favorite month of the year. The weather is getting chillier, the leaves are turning, and the smell of fall is finally in the air. It's a month for apple picking and pumpkin carving, scary movies and warm drinks. But now that the weather is getting colder, fall is also a time to pack away the summer clothes and haul in the fall wardrobe. Below is a list of some of my favorite things that are perfect for the fall months.
Comment some of your fall favorites and any ideas that you would like me to do for my next blog post!
-xoxo Today marks a very special day for me. September 22 happens to be Danny and my 2 year anniversary! Although I'm sad I can't spend the day with him, we were able to celebrate this whole past weekend together and I would like to share with you all. I arrived back in Columbus on Friday night and went to visit Danny at OSU campus. He took me out to dinner to a slice of New York which had amazing pizza. Saturday he took me to Pandora and showed me the charm he'd picked out, I loved it, of course, he has great taste. However, he told me I couldn't have the charm yet, I would have to wait until Sunday. I immediately asked what was on Sunday, but the thought was pushed out of my mind as I found myself being led through the doors of P.F. Chang's (one of my favorite restaurants for sure). We ordered the 4 course meal for two, my favorite thing definitely being the lettuce wraps, and found that we both had to loosen our belts afterward. We were so full we had to get our dessert of peanut butter cream cake packed up to go! Knowing Danny and I, we have to be pretty full to pass up dessert. The rest of Saturday I spent with Danny at OSU where I got to meet all of his friends and walk around campus. Now comes my favorite part of the weekend. Sunday at 2:00 pm Danny picked me up from my house and immediately blindfolded me and led me to the car. He drove me around in what felt like circles for 10 minutes, and by the time we stopped I had no clue where he could have taken me. He led me out of the car and down path after path. When we had been walking for about 10 minutes and nervously told me that he thought we were lost. He let me lean up against a tree while he tried to figure out where to go from there. Giving up, he told me that I would have to just take of my blindfold so I could help him find where we were. When I took off the blindfold I found that Danny had set up a picnic in the park that is very special to us. Everything was so perfect. He had plastic wine glasses (with water of course) and a bag of food that smelled very familiar to me. It was food from Brio, our favorite restaurant. Me, being the sap I am, started crying and couldn't any sensible words to come out of my mouth. I just went and hugged him for a long time. It was the sweetest most perfect thing anyone could have ever done for me. After we ate he gave me my charm and I finally got to put it on my bracelet where it lays perfectly. Spending the weekend with him made it even harder to say goodbye again, but it will be so great when I get to see him again. 2 years is a long time to be with someone but to me it has felt like no time at all. The past two years have held so many amazing memories for us, and I am so excited to see what the future holds.
